Glad you are feeling better. Definitely important to find time to 'play' artwise to keep the spirits up. A little package has been posted today so hope it gets to you safely.

Hey Kristin, since you mentioned doing some public art I thought I might invite you to join the Found Art Tuesday group on flickr. It started out as Rosa Murrillo's idea to have people to share pieces of artwork they've left out for others to find, and recently we've created a flickr group for people that participate. It's kind of gone from Found Art Tuesday, to Found Art Whateverdayoftheweekyoucanfititintoyourshcdule.
Sometimes Rosa does prompts, but it's really open to whatever. So please join and share with the group :)

Hi, didn't get a chance to say so long before you moved. I was off in North Carolina maybe. I hear you about the organization thing. My place is so full of stuff because i've been living in my house for years and years. I'm trying to get rid of a lot of it. Want some craft books? Or any books? he he he

Hi! I know exactly how you feel. Especially in my hobby room. Sorry, my boyfriend and my hobby room! I have yarn, fabric, painting stuff, he has photography and woodworking equipment. (And no shed to use it in, poor thing!) Just how can you make a ceiling-high stack of plastic tubs look cute and spacious? The blogs never tell you that.
Good luck, you will get it all sorted out one day soon!

I feel you on the space envy, I'm starting to have some serious nesting instincts taking over-hah!
It doesn't help that my hubby is a recording engineer, he has as much stuff as I do!
I have a love/hate relationship with designsponge, they just worsen the nesting instinct!!

I can't wait to see the finished quilt!!
For migraines, sometimes I use vick's vapor rub under my nose and put icy hot on my face and forehead, I know you are not supposed to do these things, but it feels so good. Just don't open your eyes or they will start watering from the menthol!

Aw, thanks for all the nice shout-out! You made me smile today.

A suggestion we are playing with around here: you may be able to buy a bottle of commercial kombucha that has a few scraps of SCOBY left in it, and use that to grow your own. We're having some success - just plop it in a jar of room-temp tea and sugar, and keep changing the liquid as the baby grows and consumes all the sugar and caffeine. It takes a while, but is educational and feels like you have another house pet! :-)

Kristin: It makes me really happy to see other people using my reading diary. I love to read too, and I've been keeping a list since 1988. It's great to look back and see how much and what I've read and especially how my interests have changed! -- Susan
